- Conshohocken Pilot Team | Driven Dragons Volleyball Academy
Our Services Driven Dragons is Growing in Conshohocken! 🏐 🏐 Driven Dragons is bringing our first club season to Conshohocken! Our Conshohocken Pilot Team is designed specifically for middle school-aged girls who want to experience what club volleyball is all about — without committing to a full competitive club season. For Girls in 5th thru 8th Grade. This short-season program is a great introduction to club volleyball and includes 14 hours of team practices, held on Friday nights from 6:45–8:45 PM at 60 Portland Road, Conshohocken, PA, on December 4, 11 & 18 and January 8, 15, 22 & 29. The team will also compete in one AAU and/or JVA tournament at the end of January or early February, giving athletes the opportunity to experience practicing as a team, developing their skills, and competing in a real club tournament environment. What’s Included: Pilot Team registration includes all scheduled team practices, Driven Dragons coaching, and the athlete/team tournament entry fee for the team’s scheduled tournament. Not included are the athlete’s uniform package, required AAU membership, spectator admission or parking fees that may be charged by the tournament venue, and any other personal travel expenses. Families are responsible for providing transportation and ensuring their athlete arrives on time and ready to participate for all practices and the scheduled tournament. ✨ Best of all — there are NO tryouts for the Pilot Team! Once you register, your athlete has a spot on the team. The Pilot Team is an AAU-only team and is perfect for athletes who are curious about club volleyball, want to continue developing their skills, or simply aren't ready for the time and travel commitment of a full club season. Because registration reserves your athlete’s place on the Conshohocken Pilot Team roster only, Pilot Team registrations are non-refundable, unless Driven Dragons is unable to form that Pilot Team due to insufficient enrollment. Pilot Team tuition is not a deposit for any Driven Dragons KRVA/USAV team and is not credited toward Select or Regional tuition. Athletes looking for a traditional full competitive KRVA/USAV club season should register for Driven Dragons tryouts at our Downingtown location. Athletes selected for those teams will practice at United Sports in Downingtown, PA. Athletes who register for the Conshohocken Pilot Team will practice exclusively in Conshohocken. Pilot Team registration does not constitute an offer, acceptance, or commitment to a Driven Dragons KRVA/USAV team. Come be part of the beginning of Driven Dragons Volleyball in Conshohocken and Rise to Greatness! 🐉🏐 Register for Pilot Team Location is Conshohocken, PA Parent Testimonials of Driven Dragon Athletes: "I really appreciate the way that you and the culture you’ve created at Driven Dragons makes time and puts forth effort to get to know each athlete as an individual, and to make them feel welcome. I know it makes my daughter feel good to know that you remember her from her first year as a 12U player and it makes me as a parent feel good that she’s not just another number in a system of players.” -Heather Driven Dragons Parent "I cannot think of a better volleyball club experience been at Driven Dragons for my daughter. She has felt seen and empowered since her very first tryout. Jamie's and Christians dedication to the club and their athletes is outstanding!" -Juan Driven Dragons Parent "This was my daughter’s first club and volleyball academy experience, and since joining the Downingtown Driven Dragons girls 16 diamond nationals, her confidence conditioning and skills as a MB has improved immensely in just one season. Her coaches challenged her and believed in her capabilities which made her step up her game. Although coaches run a strict program and expect the girls to work hard and be focused, they also have the perfect balance of allowing the girls to laugh and have fun and just enjoy the game of volleyball! The directors and coaches are approachable and considerate of all parent/player needs and concerns. Driven Dragons Volleyball Academy has an awesome community!" -Tiff Driven Dragons Parent

- Fundraising | Driven Dragons Volleyball Academy
Driven Dragons Serve-a-Thon Fundraiser Each club season, Driven Dragons Volleyball Academy hosts several fundraising opportunities to help athletes offset the costs associated with their volleyball experience. One of our most popular events is the Serve-a-Thon. Prior to the event, athletes receive a pledge form and are encouraged to seek sponsorships from family members, friends, neighbors, and local businesses. Sponsors commit to donating a specific amount for each successful serve the athlete completes during the event (for example, $1, $2, or $5 per serve). The Serve-a-Thon is typically held at the conclusion of a team practice. Athletes partner with a teammate and participate in a three-minute serving challenge. During those three minutes, athletes serve as many balls as possible, with only serves landing in bounds counting toward their final total. At the end of the challenge, the athlete's total number of successful serves is recorded on their pledge form and verified by both their serving partner and a coach through signatures. After the first athlete completes their serving round, partners switch roles and the second athlete completes their own three-minute serving challenge. Their successful serves are also recorded and verified on their pledge form. Following the event, sponsors calculate their donation by multiplying their pledged amount by the athlete's total number of successful serves. For example, if a sponsor pledged $2 per serve and the athlete completed 50 successful serves, the sponsor's donation would be $100. Beginning with the 2027 club season, athletes will retain 100% of the funds they raise through the Serve-a-Thon. These funds may be applied toward club tuition, tournament travel expenses, team gear, or other approved volleyball-related costs. To help recognize outstanding fundraising efforts, we ask athletes to report their total funds raised to their coaches. The team that raises the most money during the Serve-a-Thon will earn a complimentary team-building event sponsored by Driven Dragons Volleyball Academy. We encourage all athletes to participate and make the most of this opportunity to support their volleyball journey while helping their team compete for the fundraising championship.

- ParentPledge | Driven Dragons Volleyball Academy
Parent-Pledge I commit, Open PDF Pledge Our organization is committed to the principles of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) . Therefore, we ask that you read, sign, and return this form to your child’s coach or any appropriate representative of our organization. In keeping with PCA’s ideal of the Double-Goal Coach® – who has a goal of winning and an even the more-important goal of teaching life lessons through sports – I will be a Second-Goal Parent® , focused on the goal of using sports to teach life lessons , while leaving the goal of winning to players and coaches. I will reinforce the “ELM Tree of Mastery” with my child (E for Effort, L for Learning, M for bouncing back from Mistakes). Because I understand that a mastery approach will help my child succeed in sports and in life, I will: • encourage my child to exert maximum Effort • help my child Learn through sports • urge my child to get past Mistakes by using a Mistake Ritual, such as a flushing motion, to trigger a reminder to flush the mistake and move on to the next play. I will use positive encouragement to fill the Emotional Tanks of my children, their teammates, and coaches. I understand that, like the gas tank of a car, a full Emotional Tank can take people most anywhere. I will set an example for my child by Honoring the Game and respecting ROOTS (Rules, Opponents, Officials, Teammates, and Self). If I disagree with an official’s call, I will Honor the Game and be silent. I will use a Self-Control Routine to avoid losing my composure if I grow frustrated. I will take a deep breath, turn away from the game to refocus, count backwards from 100, or use self-talk (“I need to be a role model. I can rise above this.”) I will refrain from negative comments about my child’s coach in my child’s presence so that I do not negatively influence my child’s motivation and overall experience. I will be as prompt as possible dropping my child off and picking my child up from practices and games. I will engage in No-Directions Cheering, limiting my comments during the game to encouraging my child and other players (from both teams).
